Noruega se convirti\u00f3 en el primer pa\u00eds del mundo en apagar su se\u00f1al de Frecuencia Modulada (FM), informa la cadena brit\u00e1nica de noticias BBC.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Seg\u00fan la publicaci\u00f3n, el gobierno de Noruega dio este paso el 11 de enero del 2017 y se queda con 22 estaciones nacionales de radio digital. La radio nacional inici\u00f3 el proceso apagando su se\u00f1al FM antes que sus competidores comerciales.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El motivo es ahorrar. Seg\u00fan el ministerio de Cultura de Noruega, se estima que la digitalizaci\u00f3n de sus emisiones nacionales de radio sumar\u00e1n un ahorro anual de unos $ 25 millones.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En parte esto se debe a que los retransmisores de Retransmisi\u00f3n Digital de Audio (DAB, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) consumen menos energ\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00abLos oyentes tendr\u00e1n acceso a un contenido de radio m\u00e1s diverso y pluralista, y disfrutar\u00e1n de una mayor calidad del audio y de nuevas funcionalidades\u00bb, dijo recientemente la ministra de Cultura de Noruega, Thorhild Widvey.
